Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years of front-end development experience
- Familiarity with Ruby and Python (Python preference)
- Strong focus on user-centered design
- Comfortable collaborating with colleagues in a team
- Independent and proactive, able to hit the ground running
- Enthusiasm for learning and trying new things
- Experience with back-end developers and designers
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Proficiency in prototyping software, particularly Figma
- Knowledge of GDS design systems is desirable
Responsibilities
- Deliver front-end components for projects
- Collaborate with back-end developers and designers on various initiatives
- Contribute to a user-centered design approach in all deliverables
- Ensure compliance with WCAG for web accessibility
- Use Figma for prototyping and design tasks
- Participate in team meetings and facilitate collaborative discussions
- Stay updated on industry standards and design systems
