Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Security Clearance (must have been used within the last 12 months for transfer to a new role)
- Some experience in service management is preferred; however, we are open to candidates who are eager to learn.
- Strong and recent experience in service performance monitoring, incident management, and system administration.
Responsibilities
- Monitor service performance and respond appropriately to alerts.
- Assist Service Delivery and DevOps functions, ensuring key processes are followed and handled efficiently.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in Government Service Management processes such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Clearly capture details and communicate issues concisely to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide status communications to Service Delivery Managers.
- Manage twice-weekly Data Platform Services change reviews.
- Organize and facilitate patching of DPS servers.
- Undertake system administration responsibilities for the Infonet System.
- Collaborate within and across multiple Product-Oriented Delivery (POD) teams.
- Participate in some release management activities.
Description
We are looking for SC Cleared Service Analysts to help coordinate live service incidents, manage issues, assist with the change process, and take on some system administration tasks. The position offers remote/hybrid work options with onsite attendance once a week in London. The contract is set to last until the 31st of March 2026, with the possibility of an extension. The daily rate ranges from £340.00 to £390.00, and the role is inside IR35.
