Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and background:
- Proven experience as a Privacy Data Protection Lead within the public sector or government
- IAPP Certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, and additional practitioner certificates
- Over 10 years of experience in data protection and privacy, valuing experience over qualifications
- Experience with AI is highly desirable, or a strong digital delivery background coupled with a passion for AI
- Deep expertise in privacy design principles (Privacy by Design)
- Ability to support digital delivery teams with privacy guidance, especially for AI projects
- Skilled at communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with:
- Applying privacy by design principles throughout all delivery processes
- Enabling project delivery while ensuring compliance with privacy standards
- Acting as a privacy expert who combines technical depth with an enabling mindset, assisting teams in problem-solving rather than creating barriers
Description
This position is for a duration until the end of the financial year, with potential for extensions. The compensation is £675 outside IR35. We are located in London, Bristol, or Manchester, and we require attendance every other week for one day. Candidates with active SC clearance are highly valued.
