- Experience delivering mobile solutions within complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Background working in high-security or highly regulated digital settings
- Demonstrable leadership skills: coaching, mentoring, performance management
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical direction
- BPSS clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to Telford
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-platform mobile development team
- Provide expert technical guidance across iOS and Android
- Oversee architecture decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices
- Ensure mobile application development aligns with organisational standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with product, security, and wider technology teams
- Drive continuous improvement and promote modern engineering techniques
Description
We are a central government client seeking an experienced Mobile App Technical Lead to guide and manage a high-performing development team delivering complex mobile solutions. This contract opportunity is remote, with ad-hoc travel to Telford, and has a length of 3-6 months. We offer a competitive day rate and are looking to fill this role as soon as possible.
