Requirements
Must:
- Active SC clearance
- Significant experience in Azure-focused cloud architecture and infrastructure
- Proven background in solution architecture and technical design
- Strong knowledge of security and compliance, particularly NCSC cloud security principles
- Familiarity with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act, classification policies, and network security
- Proficient in Azure Active Directory (AAD) / Entra ID
- Experienced with Azure SQL and identity & access management (IAM)
- Knowledgeable in cloud networking & hybrid connectivity
- Experience with application hosting and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Skilled in automation using Microsoft 365, DSC, Maestro, PowerShell, and PowerBI
Responsibilities
- Shape and design secure cloud architecture aligned with NCSC principles
- Enhance security posture for cloud services
- Guide the delivery of modern cloud services across complex environments
- Collaborate with the team during monthly meetings and workshops in London
- Engage in ad hoc visits for conferences and departmental engagement
Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Tech Architect for a 6-month contract, offering £750/day (Inside IR35). The position is flexible in locations such as London, Bristol, Manchester, or Birmingham. You will play a critical role in shaping cloud architecture and will be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality cloud solutions.
