IT Information Security Manager - Hereford

I seek a candidate with solid experience in information security management, ideally within ICT infrastructure, managed service providers, or systems integration. The ideal applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards and relevant security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CAF) as well as a strong technical understanding of modern IT and cloud environments, capable of assessing third-party platforms and software for security risks. Proven experience in developing and implementing information security policies, procedures, and controls is essential. Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and tools, along with a regulated background, is also necessary. Experience in managing information security incidents and conducting investigations, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is important for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of our organization. Desirable qualifications include experience working within Defence, the UK government, and/or as a commercial security supplier, as well as professional certifications in information security such as CISSP or CISM, or relevant ISO 27001 certifications.
