- Proven experience leading a BI function.
- Expertise in Azure BI architecture and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Fabric, SQL warehousing, Data Lakes, and Databricks.
- A track record in MI/BI product development using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and sprint activities.
- Demonstrated experience in guiding a BI team and a business through the development and transition to a Data Lake, Factory, or Warehouse.
- Strong technical BI development and architectural background.

Responsibilities
As a key member of our newly formed Data Engineering team, you will:
- Lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of our data and reporting infrastructure.
- Serve as the strategic owner of the Azure Data Platform, overseeing services like Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Drive the direction of our data strategy and demonstrate the value data can bring to our organization.
- Challenge the business on their data needs while encouraging our teams to produce effective data outputs.
- Bridge the gap between the Data Team and the business environment to foster effective collaboration.
