Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on Intune support experience in enterprise environments
- Troubleshooting expertise across Windows, iOS/iPadOS, and Android device management
- Proficient with PowerShell, Graph API, and automation scripting
- Knowledge of Intune RBAC & scope tags
- Understanding of Autopilot & enrolment workflows
- Familiarity with complex compliance & configuration profiles
- Proven experience in a second-line support or technical escalation role
- Active or recently lapsed SC Clearance (ideal but not mandatory)
- Experience supporting multi-organisation or shared tenants (desirable)
- Public-sector experience (desirable)
- Understanding of frameworks such as NCSC, CIS, Cyber Essentials (desirable)
- Exposure to Agile / DevOps environments (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Act as a second-line escalation point for Intune-related incidents and complex service requests
- Troubleshoot issues including device enrolment failures (Autopilot, ABM, Android Enterprise)
- Manage policy assignment & compliance challenges
- Oversee application deployments & configuration profiles
- Address RBAC & scope tag issues
- Provide root cause analysis and clear documentation to support knowledge sharing
- Support centrally defined Intune baselines (apps, profiles, compliance policies)
- Troubleshoot across Windows 10/11 (Cloud/Entra Join, Hybrid Join, Autopilot)
- Assist with iOS/iPadOS (Apple Business Manager integrations)
- Address Android Enterprise issues (Fully Managed, Dedicated, Zero-Touch)
Description
We are a major multi-organisational programme looking for an experienced Intune Second Line Support Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is fully remote, offering a competitive rate of £480 per day (Inside IR35). Our ideal candidate will act as the escalation point between first-line support teams and third-line engineering/design functions, ensuring effective management of a large, centrally managed Intune tenant. We prioritize a hands-on technical approach, requiring strong Intune expertise across various platforms.
