Requirements
Must:
- Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Strong full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with SQL-based databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with version control, testing, and development best practices
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- (Desirable) Experience in defence, aerospace, or government projects
- (Desirable) Exposure to DevSecOps, Docker, or cloud deployment
- (Desirable) Knowledge of AI / data integration
- (Desirable) Agile delivery experience (Jira, Confluence, Git)
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and support
- Build and maintain modern front-end interfaces
- Develop robust back-end systems, APIs, and databases
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure software meets security, performance, and compliance standards
- Explore and integrate new technologies, including AI and automation
Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support and enhance a suite of applications used by our internal teams and UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) customers. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys owning development work end to end, improving existing systems, and delivering secure, high-quality software in a regulated environment.
