Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IT support, specifically in physical installations and maintenance
- Familiarity with IT equipment such as servers, switches, and routers
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Strong communication skills for liaising with teams and vendors
- Capacity to lift and move heavy equipment
- Experience using ticketing systems for incident management
- Willingness to travel to remote sites if required
- Availability to support 1st level end-user queries when needed
- Understanding of change management and access control procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite operations involving the physical installation, de-installation, and relocation of IT equipment
- Rack, stack, cable, and label equipment according to established standards
- Track asset movements including inbound, outbound, and returns
- Connect and disconnect power, network, and peripheral cables
- Escort vendors and third-party engineers as necessary
- Support incident resolution by performing checks, reboots, and part replacements
- Respond to service requests including break-fix tasks and changes
- Conduct basic health checks and monitor environmental conditions
- Maintain inventory records of IT assets and equipment disposals
- Assist with lifecycle replacements and hardware refresh activities
- Perform support activities during change windows and disaster recovery drills
