Requirements
Must:
We prefer candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years of experience administering Windows Server environments and managing and troubleshooting IIS web servers. Experience with SQL Server database administration, including writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures, is essential. Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, including deployment, management, and performance monitoring, is highly desirable. You should also have experience working with BacPac files for database migrations and deployments, along with a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols. We seek individuals with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Strong communication and documentation skills are important, and experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure certifications) are also a plus.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and supporting custom software in Windows Server environments. You will manage and troubleshoot IIS web servers, including application deployments and configurations. Your tasks will also include implementing and maintaining SQL Server databases, focusing on performance tuning, backups, and recovery. You will develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures, work with Azure SQL databases, and utilize BacPac files for database migrations and deployments. Collaboration with other IT team members to support and improve the overall IT infrastructure will be essential. You will also need to document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
