Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in defining product design strategy and problem framing
- Ability to create and design prototypes using various methods (paper, clickable and code)
- Knowledge of inclusive design and accessibility standards
- Experience collaborating with developers on complex programs and reducing technical debt
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and engage effectively with stakeholders
- Strong skills in establishing metrics for evaluating design success
- Proven ability to mentor and elevate team members in inclusive team cultures
- Capable of storytelling to inspire a design community environment
- Experience with strategic time management for delivering value to clients
Responsibilities
- Develop product strategy and identify interaction design opportunities
- Frame and prioritize design problems as hypotheses to be tested
- Generate ideas and establish success metrics to guide decision-making
- Create and test prototypes at varying levels of detail
- Lead inclusive design processes and implement accessibility testing
- Audit designs for consistency and effectively use existing design systems
- Communicate design intent clearly to bridge user needs and technical implementation
- Present design decisions effectively in complex project environments
- Actively mentor team members and share knowledge to elevate team capabilities
- Strategically manage time to support business growth through bids and proposals
