Requirements
Must:
I am seeking candidates who have proven experience in data engineering, data integration, and data modeling. Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as modern cloud data platforms like Microsoft Fabric or Databricks is essential. I also require proficiency in multiple data analytics tools, particularly Power BI, a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and dimensional modeling. Candidates should be proficient in advanced programming languages, including Python/PySpark and SQL.
Experience in data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Data Factory) and familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) is necessary. I value the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven experience in delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is crucial.
Desirable qualities include advanced knowledge of data governance, experience in a consultancy environment demonstrating flexibility and adaptability, and professional certifications in relevant technologies such as Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or AWS Data Analytics.
Responsibilities
In this role, I want you to lead by example, taking responsibility for team culture and ensuring our projects deliver the most impact and value to our clients. You will be accountable for the strategic direction, delivery, and growth of our work. This involves leading teams, owning commercial responsibilities, and effectively managing uncertainty and ambiguity on behalf of clients and our teams.
Your role will involve ensuring inclusivity within teams and projects, effectively owning and conveying the story of our work, and measuring our progress against client goals and our company’s missions. You will collaborate with our teams to influence and enhance the value we deliver to clients within their budget and time constraints. Additionally, you will strategically plan overall projects and apply appropriate methods while sharing your work with wider audiences through effective writing, speaking, and presentations.
