Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Release Analyst or Senior Project Analyst with agile teams using scrum/SAFe
- Proactive and can do attitude to support the releases
- Strong oral and written communication skills to present release updates to Business and IT leadership
- Experience working with Solution Delivery teams and understanding of technologies for risk mitigation
- Knowledge of Stores infrastructure and Store Operations is an asset
- Ability to work with JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support extended hours if needed
Responsibilities
- Liaising with the Product team, Business and Shared Service teams for Production Release planning, preparation, deployment, and support plans
- Creating and publishing release playbooks/rollback procedures to standardize release decision-making
- Planning, negotiating, and managing release activities to align Service providers, Business partners, and vendors
- Conducting Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
- Leading and coordinating Go-Live activities, including executing deployment plans and sharing daily deployment status
- Measuring and monitoring progress to ensure solutions are deployed on time and within budget
- Working with Scrum teams and System/QA teams to understand production package readiness
- Defining Deployment criteria for Implementation, Beta, and Rollout
- Collaborating with Scrum Masters/Epic owners for Incident/defect Management
- Managing the ECM-CHG process for all releases and representing in CAB meetings
- Developing a solid understanding of targeted Business operations and economic view of release processes
- Maintaining a release repository and managing key release-related information
