Must:
- I am seeking a Senior Network Engineer with the following essential experience:
- In-depth knowledge of network solutions and significant experience working in this capacity.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical engineering discipline.
- Strong experience in the deployment, configuration, and support of firewalls, routers, and switches to maximize network availability, efficiency, and security.
- Experience in developing an ITIL environment.
- Proficiency in monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting network and infrastructure faults and performance.
- A strong understanding of cyber security principles, priorities, and incident management.
- Project management experience, ensuring the delivery of key milestones across concurrent projects.
- Excellent customer-facing skills and experience in supporting pre-sales activities.
- A commitment to knowledge sharing and the development of colleagues.
- Availability to be part of an on-call rota and provide support.
- Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I will need you to improve the efficiency and stability of our current networks, mainly in Cisco, Juniper Meraki, and Palo Alto environments.
- Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing new network solutions with a focus on availability and security.
- You will be directly involved in the research, design, deployment, and support of key services for our customers.
- Maintaining effective communication and support for internal and external stakeholders will be critical.

- I am looking for candidates who are located in the Aberdeen region, as you will be required to work 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home. - We offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days of annual leave, industry training and professional development, a pension plan, life insurance, a cycle-to-work scheme, and a refer-a-friend scheme. - Please note, the job title of Senior refers only to the level of experience and is not related to age.
