Requirements
Must:
- 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect in complex, large-scale enterprise environments
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure SQL, Data Lake, Databricks, and Key Vault
- Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and API gateways
- Proven experience architecting financial systems (General Ledger, AP/AR, etc.)
- Exposure to Infor is highly advantageous
- Solid understanding of the Azure Well Architected Framework and secure integration patterns for SaaS platforms
Responsibilities
- Produce comprehensive High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for finance and operational platforms
- Drive the transition from legacy systems to modern architectures using microservices and micro-frontends
- Design and govern Azure-first solutions, leveraging services such as API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, and Service Bus
- Architect API led and event-driven patterns to integrate Infor (ERP) with upstream/downstream systems
- Participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
- Provide hands-on steering to Agile development teams to ensure the correct implementation of architectural patterns

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect for an initial 6-month contract role, focused on the architectural design and governance of enterprise-scale solutions. This is a home-based position in the UK. Our key deliverables include ensuring that digital ecosystems are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
