Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in a 3rd-line operational role with a focus on service operation
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem
- Proficient in administering VMware vSphere and Veeam Backup and Restore
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based security concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting techniques with good grasp of networking (LAN, WAN, Wireless)
- ITIL v3 Foundation certification
- Ideally, MCSE-level qualifications or certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, or VMware
Responsibilities
- Provide expert 3rd Line Support and proactively maintain all systems to a high standard
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 Admin Portals (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Defender)
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents (Problem Management) and perform critical infrastructure and application upgrades
- Manage vulnerabilities, ensure security patching, and adhere to strict ITIL core processes
- Aid in the smooth delivery of projects and manage 3rd-party suppliers to resolve complex incidents
Description
We are a growing team based in Solihull, looking for a proactive IT Operations Analyst to join us. In this role, you will become an integral part of our operational technology services, managing infrastructure to ensure high performance and security. This role requires participation in an out-of-hours on-call rotation and is classified as a Level 1 High Risk role, which involves high access to sensitive data.
