Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with Siemens Teamcenter (RAC and/or Active Workspace)
- Background in engineering systems support or development (PLM / CAD / CAE / manufacturing integrations)
- Solid technical foundation across application support and/or hardware support
- Comfortable working with stakeholders
- Confident communicator who can build trust with engineering users
Responsibilities
- Take ownership across key engineering systems, delivering upgrades, enhancements and problem resolution across a global user base
- Develop, configure and enhance Teamcenter and related engineering applications
- Improve data models, workflows and UI, delivering upgrades and new functionality
- Monitor and analyze engineering system performance; identify and resolve issues
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes using standard methods
- Support infrastructure processes (e.g., system monitoring, scheduled jobs, server-related tasks)
- Gather requirements, produce technical justification, and deliver development solutions
- Lead testing, documentation and sign-off with engineering stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with global engineering teams, IT colleagues and third-party partners
Description
We are a major manufacturing organization located in the Midlands and are seeking an Engineering Systems Development Engineer to join our Group IT Engineering Systems team. This team ensures that global engineering functions have the right software tools and platforms to deliver successful programs. We offer sponsorship and require the position to be onsite for five days a week. Our ideal candidate will take ownership of engineering systems, focusing on continuous improvement and effective communication with stakeholders.
