Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering
- Strong experience working in a Java development environment
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
- SC Clearance eligibility required
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications
- Deploy, monitor, and manage services running on Kubernetes (on-prem or cloud)
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Collaborate with software engineers to improve application reliability and scalability
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance development and operations workflows
- Ensure system security, resilience, and compliance best practices are met
Description
We are offering a 6-month contract within the public sector with hybrid working arrangements, requiring biweekly onsite work in Manchester or Newcastle, at a rate of £530 per day (Inside IR35). We are seeking a number of talented DevOps Engineers to join our team and contribute to an exciting new project. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing our cloud-native platforms, working closely with developers and architects to ensure smooth delivery of high-quality applications.
