Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Data Analyst within Central Government or Public Sector environments.
- Strong background in data analysis, particularly in DDaT/GDS environments.
- Good understanding of Python programming.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance and government standards related to data collection, quality, and usage.
Responsibilities
- Audit the current use of data and develop a future data strategy in collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing data collection processes, focusing on quality and compliance with regulations.
- Map the current data collection and usage journey and apply statistical and analytical tools and techniques.
- Uphold fundamental principles of data ethics and privacy, communicating any associated risks through appropriate channels.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in data collection, quality, and usage, including how to enhance the capture of compliant first-party data.
Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join us on an exciting new AI-focused project in a remote setting. This role is essential for mapping the current data practices within our Department and exploring opportunities for improving data collection and analysis to enhance future marketing efforts. The position is inside IR35, and we offer a competitive rate of £450.00 per day.
