Requirements
Must:
- Proven Business Analyst experience in insurance (ideal) or financial services (minimum) within regulated settings.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, critical thinking, and prioritization.
- Hands-on experience in software delivery and business process re-engineering; comfortable working in Agile methodologies (user stories, backlogs, iterative delivery).
- Excellent documentation skills across as-is/to-be processes, requirements, and acceptance criteria; detail-oriented with a big-picture view.
- A self-starter mindset, comfortable operating independently in a complex, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to elicit requirements through workshops and interviews, translating them into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Document as-is processes (flow charts, data flows, BPMN) and design to-be processes aligned to outcomes.
- Build business cases and recommendations, evaluate solution options, and assess data/reporting/analytics impacts.
- Produce project artifacts such as project plans, KPIs, and system impact assessments, and support testing/UAT.
- Track benefits and measure post-implementation success, enhancing the quality of analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Change, Technology, and Data teams from ideation to implementation.
Description
We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our high-performing Change Team, which is delivering a clearly defined transformation portfolio across regulatory, operating-model, and technology initiatives. You will work end-to-end, shaping business cases, mapping processes, assessing solutions, and supporting delivery into live environments. Why consider this role? You'll enjoy a variety of tasks and exposure to concurrent programs in a complex, regulated environment. Plus, we offer flexibility with hybrid working, requiring just 1 day per week in our Manchester office.
