Requirements
Must:
- Technical Solution Design Lead / Technical Authority experience
- Hands-on design/migration experience of at least two of the following at scale: Check Point R8x firewalls, Cisco or Juniper LAN and WAN, F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM/AFM, Zscaler ZIA & ZPA, SD-WAN
- Strong routing fundamentals: BGP, OSPF, route maps, redistribution
- Proven experience in complex enterprise or carrier-scale environments
- Expertise in documentation and tooling, including Visio, draw.io, PowerPoint, Word/Confluence
- Qualifications: CCNP/CCIE Enterprise or Security, JNCIP/JNCIE, F5 CTS, Check Point CCSE, Zscaler ZCCA IA / ZCCA IAE, TOGAF, ITILv4

Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end technical design for complex network security architecture deployments and migrations
- Own overall solution architecture, low-level designs (LLD), and solution integrity
- Act as the single technical point of contact for external customers
- Produce and maintain architecture decks, LLDs, change packs, rollback procedures, and run books
- Review implementation artefacts such as configuration files and Ansible/Terraform scripts
- Validate and integrate component designs for LAN, firewall, F5, WAN, VPN, ZPA/ZIA, and security controls
- Provide 24/7 escalation cover when rostered to meet migration deadlines

We are a global IT consultancy seeking a Technical Solution Architect for a 5-month contract primarily remote, with occasional travel to London. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership in complex environments.
