Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Security Clearance
- Strong Azure Cloud expertise (Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub)
- Proven experience in Azure Cloud migrations and networking solutions
- Experience with VMs and Kubernetes, focusing on deployment, management, and scaling
- Proficiency in implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Experience designing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Ability to assess networking requirements and design secure solutions including load balancing, routing, and firewalls
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex Azure Cloud infrastructure and application issues
- Experience working with key stakeholders, external suppliers, and cross-functional teams (IT Security, Testing, and Applications)
- Experience supporting Azure Cloud migration initiatives using frameworks like AzureRM, CAF, or Google Cloud
- Participation in 24/7 on-call team support rota
- Strong DevOps background with an automation-first mindset
- Advantageous: Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, AWS) and Multi-Tenant solutions experience
Responsibilities
- Lead SRE activities for large-scale Azure Cloud projects
- Mentor other Engineers on best practices
- Deliver efficient solutions across VMs and Kubernetes environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes
- Design and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud environments
- Assess and design networking solutions to ensure security
- Troubleshoot and resolve Azure Cloud infrastructure and application issues
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Support migration initiatives and adhere to best practices
- Participate in on-call support duties as required
Description
We are a leading global IT and Digital transformation business specializing in Government projects, currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with active SC Clearance. This is a 6-month contract role based in Central London with hybrid working arrangements, allowing 2 days of remote work and 3 days on-site. We offer a competitive rate of up to £525 per day (Inside IR35). This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while working in a dynamic team environment.
