We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with extensive hands-on experience in Python, demonstrating a strong grasp of Core Python concepts. You should have proven expertise in deploying Python applications using CI/CD, along with proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in Cloud environments. Excellent practical expertise in performance tuning and system optimization is essential. Experience with PySpark and Azure Databricks for distributed data processing and large-scale data analysis is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with web frameworks, particularly Django and Flask, as well as a solid understanding of APIs, is necessary. Knowledge in the banking domain is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and maintain data interfaces to connect various systems within the Bank. You will lead the development of MVPs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance banking applications. Additionally, you will work closely with UI/UX designers to seamlessly integrate visualizations into web applications or other platforms.
Description
This is a permanent position based in central London with a hybrid working model, requiring an expectation of 3 days per week on-site. Joining us means having the opportunity to work with a leading digital transformation business on large-scale IT modernization programmes for government clients. An immediate start is preferred, ideally in Summer 2025. The salary range for this position is £80,000 to £90,000, depending on experience.
