Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in OSS Orchestration, particularly with Ciena Blue Planet and ServiceNow Orchestration platforms. You should have a solid background in the Telecoms industry, including hands-on experience with significant orchestration projects. You must demonstrate a strong technical understanding of orchestration platforms and possess an architectural mindset, allowing you to assess capabilities, integration patterns, use cases, migration paths, and commercial impacts. Familiarity with TMF APIs and SDN/NFV/CNF concepts at a high level is preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will evaluate orchestration platforms, specifically Ciena Blue Planet and ServiceNow. Your tasks will include developing RFx documentation and assessment criteria, analyzing technical capabilities, integrations, and API readiness, and assessing migration approaches from existing tools. Excellent stakeholder communication skills are essential to effectively convey your findings and recommendations.
Description
This position is for a 6-month contract based in Newbury, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days a week working remotely and two days on-site at our office in either Newbury or Reading. We offer a competitive daily rate of £450, outside of IR35. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global IT Consultancy on a telecommunications architecture project for an external client, with an ideal start date in December 2025.
