Requirements
Must:
- Strong front-end and back-end development experience in Java
- Proficiency with AWS Cloud Services
- Experience with Kotlin, AngularJS, Jenkins, and NodeJS
- Familiarity with SQL and Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes
- Experience in designing and implementing secure systems
- Understanding of DevOps practices
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB)
- Containers experience with Docker and ECS preferred
- AWS Associate Developer accreditation preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support Java software solutions
- Implement complex workflows using AWS Services
- Design secure systems and ensure adherence to DevOps practices
- Build and manage continuous integration processes
- Work with both front-end and back-end technologies
- Engage in code reviews and ensure quality standards
Description
We are a leading global IT transformation business based in Leeds, specializing in large-scale Government digital modernization projects. We offer a hybrid work model, allowing for two days of remote work per week. Our compensation package includes a salary of £70,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience), a 10% bonus, pension contributions, and 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays), which increases to 25 days after a period of service. Additional benefits include death in service coverage and a comprehensive healthcare plan.
