Requirements
Must:
- Experience resolving IT incidents to 2nd line level and managing IT support requests from end-users.
- Ability to support IT projects, including software/hardware upgrades and rollouts.
- Proficiency in setting up end-user hardware using imaging and automated Device Management systems.
- Capability to escalate more complex issues to 3rd Line IT Support Engineers and 3rd party IT suppliers.
- Familiarity with using IT Helpdesk logging systems and remote support tools.
- A full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle are preferred.
- Knowledge of the technical environment, including Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, Mobile Devices (iPads/iPhones), Printers, TCP/IP, Networking, and Fixed-Line (ADSL/Fibre/3G/4G).

As an IT Support Technician, I will expect you to resolve IT incidents to 2nd line level and effectively manage IT support requests from end-users. You will support various IT projects, including software and hardware upgrades and rollouts, while also setting up end-user hardware using imaging and automated Device Management systems. You will escalate more complex issues to 3rd Line IT Support Engineers and collaborate with 3rd party IT suppliers whenever necessary. Utilizing IT Helpdesk logging systems and remote support tools will be a vital part of your daily activities.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing business in Derbyshire, just 8 miles north of Derby along the A38 Corridor. I am offering a permanent position with a salary of up to £28,000, depending on experience. The ideal start date is September or October 2025.
