Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who can provide remote IT support to a range of customers at both 1st and 2nd line levels. A full UK driving licence and an own vehicle are preferred. You should have experience with system monitoring, error logging, fault-tracking, and IT incident management to ensure maximum service availability. Proficiency with a technical environment that includes Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, Group Policies, Office 365, RRAS, and a basic understanding of networks is essential. Additionally, strong soft skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, logical thinking, proactiveness, prioritisation, and excellent customer service abilities are required.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will ensure all actions are logged and managed via the IT helpdesk, and you will visit customer sites to complete IT service requests. This includes IT asset tracking, service provisioning, and managing IT accounts for new starters and leavers.
Description
This is a permanent position in Derby, with a salary of up to £28,000 depending on experience. We offer a chance to join an established IT Managed Services business with a proven track record spanning over 20 years. We ideally want you to start in September or October 2025.
