Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in Service Design / Service Transition roles
- Strong understanding of ITIL / ITSM frameworks
- Experience delivering service readiness in large transformation programmes
- Ability to create governance artefacts: SHLD (Service High-Level Design), RACI, RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix)
- Experience with business change, training, and adoption
- Strong stakeholder management
- Background in telecoms or large-scale enterprise environments preferred
- Active SC Security Clearance is essential for this contract
- Desirable: Experience with tools such as ServiceNow
- Desirable: Exposure to Network / Infrastructure services
- Desirable: Experience working with suppliers and third-party vendors
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Design, Governance, Business Change, and transition activities required to establish a compliant Service Model
- Work with Service High-Level Design (SHLD), RACI model, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) & Business Change
- Create process flow diagrams and processes for each of the ITSM processes (e.g. incident and change management)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with contractual obligations and customer approval
Description
We are a global IT Consultancy seeking a Service Designer / Transition Lead for a 3-month contract located in London with hybrid working arrangements. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £425-£450 (Outside IR35) and requires active SC Security Clearance. Join our dynamic team as we work on large-scale network solutions projects for a prominent Telecoms end client. We look forward to having you onboard, starting ASAP in May 2026, as we drive transformation and ensure service readiness.
