Requirements
Must:
- Strong Python development expertise
- Experience with Flask and Django web frameworks
- Leadership skills including project management and mentoring
- Front-end development using Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- SQL Server database development and optimization
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Knowledge of event-driven programming paradigms and design patterns such as MVT and MVC
- Experience with GitHub version control and coding standards
- Understanding of software development best practices including exception handling and OOP
- Familiarity with Agile methods and CI/CD practices
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex applications
- Mentor junior developers in coding standards and best practices
- Develop front-end user interfaces with Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Optimize SQL Server databases and perform data analysis
- Oversee the integration of software components and troubleshoot applications
- Implement software development best practices and design patterns
- Utilize AWS Cloud Services and Docker containers in development
- Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment
Description
We are a leading global IT transformation business specializing in large-scale Government projects, located in Leeds. This permanent Python Full Stack Developer role offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days of remote work and 2 days in our Leeds office, allowing for flexibility. Along with a competitive salary of up to £80,000 (DOE), we provide an annual bonus, pension plan, 22 days of holiday plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days), death in service benefits, and health care.
