Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in Python development
- Proficiency with web frameworks like Flask and Django
- Expertise in front-end technologies including Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience with SQL Server, including database optimization and data analysis
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Solid understanding of serverless architectures and Docker containers
- Knowledge of event-driven programming paradigms and design patterns like MVT and MVC
- Leadership skills to mentor junior developers and drive development projects
- Experience with GitHub version control and debugging applications
- Understanding of software development best practices, including OOP and exception handling
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex applications using Core Python
- Mentor junior developers in coding standards and software practices
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases for efficient data retrieval
- Create seamless user interfaces using front-end technologies
- Oversee integration of various software components and troubleshooting
- Implement software development best practices and ensure code quality
- Participate in Agile methodologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Employ modern tools and techniques to enhance productivity and project delivery
Description
We are a leading global IT transformation business specializing in large-scale Government projects, located in Leeds. Our hybrid working model allows for 3 days of remote work and 2 days in the office each week. We offer a competitive salary up to £80,000 (DOE), an annual bonus, pension contributions, and a generous holiday package that starts at 22 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days.
