Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IP/MPLS, SR/SRv6, and SD-WAN within multi-vendor environments, including expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Versa.
- Strong understanding of FTTx, Broadband, Telco Cloud, and Network Automation.
- Experience in NaaS/NaaP enablement and alignment with TMF/MEF standards.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and the application of AI/GenAI in operations.
- Familiarity with observability frameworks and OSS/BSS modernization.
- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and multi-domain delivery experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute large-scale digital transformation and network transformation initiatives.
- Define and architect end-to-end network frameworks across IP/MPLS, SR/SRv6, SD-WAN, FTTx, Broadband, and Telco Cloud domains.
- Implement Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) and Network-as-a-Platform (NaaP) frameworks that are on-demand, API-driven, and intent-based, ensuring alignment with TMF Open APIs and MEF LSO standards.
- Oversee the integration of multi-vendor solutions and orchestrate multi-cloud environments across OSS/BSS, IP, SD-WAN, and Telco Cloud systems.
- Drive transformation programs aimed at modernizing legacy OSS/BSS systems into modular, API-exposed digital ecosystems.
- Enable and scale enterprise business services, such as managed SD-WAN, VPN, Broadband, and Hybrid Network offerings, ensuring compliance with SLA and QoS standards.
Description
This is a 6-month contract opportunity based in Newbury/Reading with a hybrid work model, allowing for three days of remote work and two days in the office. The rate for this position is between £425 to £450 per day, outside of IR35, with an ideal start date in October or November 2025. We are seeking a dynamic Telecom and Enterprise Transformation Specialist Architect who is ready to make an impact by leading innovative network architecture initiatives.
