We are looking for a .NET Core Developer with strong expertise in building cloud-native applications, particularly with AWS serverless architecture. You should have hands-on experience in back-end development using .NET Core and ASP.NET Core (Web APIs, microservices). Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others is essential. Additionally, experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and a good understanding of application security and monitoring practices is advantageous. Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Blazor will be a plus.
Responsibilities
As a .NET Core Developer, your responsibilities will include building and optimizing .NET Core microservices and RESTful APIs. You will develop and maintain scalable serverless applications utilizing various AWS services. You will also implement and manage CI/CD pipelines while ensuring application security, monitoring, and logging practices are upheld. Collaborating within a technical environment that includes Git, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation will be a significant part of your role.
Description
This is a permanent role based in Leeds, offering a hybrid work model, allowing you to work 3 days a week remotely and 2 days a week on-site. We are a leading global IT transformation business specializing in large-scale Government projects. The salary for this position is up to £60,000, depending on experience, and includes additional benefits such as a bonus, pension, 22 days of holiday (increasing to 25), health care plan, and more. We ideally want you to start in December 2025 or January 2026.
