Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with the following experience and skills:
- Expertise in developing large-scale micro-services, messaging, web services, and distributed systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and micro-services development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, particularly with NodeJS and ReactJS, as well as REST APIs.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL / NoSQL databases, JSON, and XML.
- Experience with AWS Cloud environments, including ECS, EKS, API Gateway, and Serverless technologies.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD technologies, such as Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Git, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with large-scale integration projects involving messaging, web services, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Agile development methods, including Scrum, BDD, TDD, and Kanban.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement large-scale IT modernization programs for government clients.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to build and maintain micro-services and distributed systems.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality code through Agile methodologies.
- Utilize Cloud services effectively to support and enhance project outcomes.
- Contribute to the integration of various technologies and platforms.
Description
This is a permanent position based in Leeds, working on a hybrid remote basis. You’ll have the opportunity to work on-site for two days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. We are looking to start this position ideally in December 2025 or January 2026.
