Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Security Clearance
- Strong expertise in Azure Cloud
- Proficient with Azure Databricks and Data Factory
- Experience in building and maintaining core infrastructure tooling
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization orchestration
- Proficient in GitHub Action, Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep
- Understanding of CI/CD principles
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, YAML, and Python
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Preferred Azure Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a scalable and reliable platform for development workflows
- Build and maintain core infrastructure tooling
- Ensure effective utilization of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices
- Streamline infrastructure management to enhance productivity
- Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and economists on Azure Databricks Economic Data Platform
- Utilize GitHub Action and other CI/CD tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Manage containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
- Write scripts for automation and configuration management
- Maintain compliance with SC Security requirements
Description
We are a leading global IT transformation business specializing in large-scale Government projects. This role is based in London and offers a hybrid working model with 2 days remote and 3 days in-office. We provide a competitive day rate of £600-650 for a 6-month rolling contract starting ASAP in March/April 2026.
