We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with proven and demonstrable experience in delivering sizeable .NET applications to production. Extensive knowledge of both .NET and C# is essential for the continued development of solutions and products for all brands within our group. You should possess strong commercial experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and C#, including LINQ, JSON, and Inversion of Control. A solid understanding of API design (REST, GraphQL is desirable), familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), and good knowledge of software design principles (SOLID, clean architecture, microservices) are also important.
Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of Event-Driven Architecture, including the roles of APIs, Webhooks, and Integration Platforms such as Zapier and make.it. Understanding the principles behind Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and its use in CI/CD Pipeline based deployment is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using .NET and C#. You will provide solutions for a range of web technologies such as Next.js and React.js, as well as Native App technologies including iOS and Android. You will contribute to system architecture discussions and solution design, write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices, and collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver robust solutions. Optimizing performance and ensuring security across applications will also be part of your role.
Description
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £80,000 to £90,000, and this position is based in Central London, requiring 5 days onsite. This role does not offer sponsorship; therefore, you must have full unrestricted rights to work in the UK.
