Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Information Technology or a related field, and previous experience in an IT service desk or support role. Familiarity with incident management and service desk principles is essential. You should have strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues, as well as knowledge of IT service management frameworks like ITIL. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with a customer-focused, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach, are a must.
Responsibilities
As a Junior IT Service Desk Analyst, you will provide technical support through various channels, escalating issues as necessary. You will log, track, and resolve incidents with precise documentation and process user requests within agreed SLAs. In addition, you will analyze recurring issues and collaborate with IT teams to implement permanent fixes. Communication with users is crucial, as you will provide guidance and updates. Managing hardware and software assets, contributing to knowledge base articles, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation, and participating in cross-functional IT projects will also be part of your role.
