Requirements
Must:
- Active SC clearance
- Experience in a Network / Infrastructure Engineer role in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience delivering engineering solutions
- Experience of Enterprise Networking Engineering
- Experience of Firewall and Security Technologies (Palo Alto firewalls, Zero Trust & Secure Network Design Principles)
- Experience of Data Centre & Network Architecture (VXLAN/ EVPN, Load balancing technologies ie F5 BIG-IP)
- Experience in network automation (Python or Ansible)
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), ie Terraform
- Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve large-scale enterprise network platforms
- Focus on modern, automated, and cloud-integrated infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective solutions
- Support the delivery of engineering solutions
- Implement and manage enterprise networking and security technologies
- Conduct network automation and infrastructure as code practices
Description
We are Summer-Browning Associates, supporting our public sector client with a crucial Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) role for an initial ten-month assignment, with potential for extension. This position offers hybrid working from locations including Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, or Blackpool, requiring 60% on-site attendance.
