Must:
Senior Python Developer
We are looking for a candidate who holds active SC Clearance and has a proven background in Software Development and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Extensive knowledge of the Python programming language (Python 3.10 or higher)
- Familiarity with Go or similar programming languages
- Understanding of common operating systems, including Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, Red Hat, and Windows Server
- Experience with VMware platforms and SAN/Backup Storage
- Knowledge of database concepts, along with object and data modeling techniques, design principles, and database architectures
- An understanding of Agile methodologies and ITIL Foundation level or relevant experience
- Experience working in Public Sector or Defence secure environments
Responsibilities
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions. You will collaborate with team members to ensure that best practices in software development are followed, and you'll contribute to the design and implementation of data engineering projects. Your expertise in Python and familiarity with other programming languages will be essential in driving projects forward.

This is an initial six-month assignment with a Central Government client located in Milton Keynes.
