Requirements
Must:
- Active SC Clearance
- Strong background in Project Management Office operations
- Experience working in a PMO environment
- Proven leadership skills in managing a PMO team
- Expertise in core PMO functions: programme/project scheduling, resource management, risk and issue management, programme governance, budgeting and cost management, and change control
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding of resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and project scheduling and risk management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence)
- Experience working in public sector or defence secure environments
Responsibilities
- Lead the PMO team to ensure successful project delivery
- Implement best practice frameworks aligning with Government Project Delivery standards
- Oversee programme/project scheduling and resource management
- Manage risk and issue management processes
- Ensure programme governance and compliance with budgeting and cost management
- Facilitate change control processes
- Track the status of security clearances for onboarding and offboarding resources
Description
We are Summer-Browning Associates, currently supporting our client within the central government in seeking a PMO Lead for an initial 6-month assignment. This role is hybrid, with locations in Milton Keynes and London.
