Requirements

Must:
- Multiple years of experience in a senior developer role, ideally in a large telecommunications or IT company. - Experience working in networks or IT network transformations. - Proven track record of delivering high-quality code and leading development squads. - Key technical skills: Netconf, APIs, XML, JSON, Jinja 2, Python, JavaScript, Cisco NSO, Ansible, Net Miko, Docker. - Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Itential IAP, Appian, and Resolve. - Knowledge of telecom networks, technologies, and standards (e.g., TMF, Tosca, MEF). - Proficiency in YANG/TOSCA for service modeling. - Experience with CI/CD/CT using tools like GitLab, Robot, Selenium, Cucumber, Veracode, and SonarQube.

Responsibilities

- Recruit, develop, and lead multiple development squads utilizing both internal and external resources. - Assess use cases in the backlog, estimate the minimum viable product (MVP), and size effort to ensure team resources are appropriately allocated with the right skills. - Collaborate with the Solutions Architect to design strategic use cases and tactical solutions with a focus on strategic outcomes. - Conduct low-level design, develop, and create workflows as needed. - Approve code reviews before merge as required. - Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors. - Establish coding standards, working methods, and documentation practices for over 30 developers while providing thought leadership to the wider development community. - Promote close-loop automation across Planning, Providing, and Assuring to eliminate automation silos. - Communicate updates to key stakeholders and assist them in strategic thinking. - Encourage data-driven decision-making and effective sprint planning. - Foster collaboration across both fixed and mobile networks to create synergies and achieve consolidation where possible.
