- Shape, deliver and embed IT objectives in line with our business plans
- Maintain a clear overview of the IT landscape
- Provide guidance and direction to team members
- Monitor activity to ensure priorities are delivered effectively
- Act as the key point of contact between the IT function and the board
- Communicate strategic objectives at a high level
- Create effective business plans for the IT area
- Create, develop and apply compliance-related policies
- Work as part of a cohesive leadership team
- Manage performance and support operations within the IT area
- Manage budgets and risk
