Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for a Lead/Senior Data Engineer who can demonstrate proven success and deliverables at an end client, along with strong leadership and mentoring experience.
- I expect you to have demonstrable experience in designing and implementing Data Architecture patterns and data modeling, as well as exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- You should possess in-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure data tools, particularly Microsoft Fabric, focusing on OneLake and Data Factory.
- Your background should include ELT/ETL experience for Data Transformation, along with SQL Server database design, structure, maintenance, and best practices. A strong proficiency in T-SQL is essential.
Responsibilities
- Your role will involve mentoring and leading colleagues, providing coaching and training in both their career and personal development, while managing and evolving the company’s data platform to support future growth.
- You will be responsible for designing, creating, managing, and maintaining required ETL/ELT processes.
- I will rely on you to provide input on key projects and contribute to the data strategy and roadmap, enabling future growth and addressing legacy systems.
- It is crucial for you to maintain knowledge of technology trends and offerings, evaluating and implementing them as needed to fulfill requirements.
- You will work closely with key stakeholders both in and out of projects, providing timely work updates as required.
Description
I am thrilled to offer this unique opportunity for a hybrid Lead/Senior Data Engineer role, which ideally requires you to be present at our beautiful office in Hastings, East Sussex, 2 to 4 days a month, with the rest of the time working remotely.
