Requirements
Must:
- Proven work experience in Security Operations Centres (SOC)
- Some technical leadership or project management experience would be useful but not essential
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job done
- Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Gather customer requirements from Sales, Marketing, and Training teams, and define the product roadmaps with engineering
- Prioritize customer requirements to create winning products
- Define a clear roadmap that aligns with engineering team goals
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate innovative ideas that grow market share and improve customer experience
- Create buy-in for the product vision within internal engineering and business teams
- Support Sales and Marketing in developing product pricing and positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
- Support product launches with the Sales and Marketing team
- Help Sales and Marketing evaluate promotional plans to ensure consistency with product line strategy
- Act as a Software product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Description
We are a market-leading Digital Security Software provider with offices in the UK, USA, and Africa, looking for a SOC Specialist keen to transition into a Product Manager role. This hybrid position offers two days in our Horsham, West Sussex office and three days remote work. Joining our dynamic and fast-paced team means you will work on impactful SOC and Digital Security software projects while receiving training on necessary product management skills. This role provides a strong opportunity for growth and a chance to actively shape our future SOC products.
