Requirements
Must:
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with clients and other teams
- High levels of accuracy and focus on detail
- Focused and driven individual, using initiative to identify improvement opportunities
- Ability to multi-task
- Quick learner
- Some exposure to SQL (preferred)
- Previous experience dealing with clients (preferred)
- Some exposure to IT systems development or usage (preferred)
- Experience in the insurance sector (preferred)
- Familiarity with Help Desk systems (e.g. MSP) and Testing Tools (e.g. SpiraTeam) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate software faults raised by clients
- Review technical specification documents and ensure alignment with current software functionality
- Assess data integrity issues and create data-fixes using SQL
- Dissect log files to aid in diagnosis of faults
- Collaborate with senior team members and interact with high-profile customers within the insurance sector
- Participate in training to learn the overall software development cycle and the interconnections between departments
- Support the delivery and functionality of Enterprise scale Insurance applications across global clients
