Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in systems engineering and solution architecture within multi-disciplinary product teams
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its native security services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, Harness, and GitHub
- Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and GRC processes
- Previous experience working within a Security Operations (SOC) or Cyber Defense environment is highly desirable
- Superb communication skills with the ability to tell a story using data
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of the platform underpinning global regulatory and compliance monitoring
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for cryptography, reviewing and designing advanced solutions to secure sensitive data
- Create robust designs that integrate technical requirements with commercial, regulatory, and organizational goals
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Product Owners to transform abstract business needs into scalable, decoupled architectures
- Identify and assess infrastructure currency risks, offering clear roadmaps for ever-greening systems and solutions
- Set guiding principles and success criteria to ensure engineering teams deliver high-quality, modern security code

We are a dynamic company located in London, offering a hybrid work model. Our global Cyber & Physical Defense Centre is seeking a high-level Solution Architect on an initial 6-month contract at a competitive rate of £445 - £530 per day, inside IR35.
