Requirements
Must:
- Strong background in data architecture and data modelling
- Hands-on experience with RDF, SPARQL, and W3C standards
- Experience with AWS Neptune, AWS Glue, ElasticSearch, and Oracle
- Agile delivery experience
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Desirable: AWS certification or hands-on experience
- Desirable: Airflow or orchestration tools
- Desirable: Regulatory / financial services experience
Responsibilities
- Model and structure marketplace data and define new data catalogues
- Validate data contracts and usage rights
- Define and improve data architecture and governance policies
- Design data flows for third-party data initiatives
- Work with RDF data models and SPARQL
- Query data using Oracle SQL and ElasticSearch
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile environment
Description
We are offering a contract opportunity for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join a high-profile market data transformation programme within a large financial services environment. This position is based in Glasgow City Centre and requires 5 days onsite work. Our challenge is dynamic and rewarding, with a contract duration of 6 months starting in February 2026.
