Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with strong analytical expertise and experience working with insurance datasets.
- You should have hands-on knowledge of Azure Databricks and modern data platforms.
- Experience with Lloyd's Syndicate specialty insurance data is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
Responsibilities
- I would like you to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions alongside SMEs and senior data engineers.
- You will be responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and validating enterprise data for reporting, analytics, and applications.
- Defining transformation and normalization logic for source, medallion, and model layers will be part of your role.
- You will partner with data engineers to design and optimize data models for analytics and business consumption.
- Supporting backlog prioritization in collaboration with the Product Owner and Lead Data Engineer will be necessary.
- Your experience with Lloyd's Syndicate specialty insurance data and Azure Databricks will be invaluable in accelerating migrations and analytics.

As a Senior Data Insurance Analyst, you’ll work with cross-functional teams—including underwriting, claims, finance, and product—to analyze large datasets, spot trends, and provide recommendations that influence key decisions. You will design data models, perform predictive and trend analyses, and ensure data quality across multiple sources. Acting as a trusted adviser, you will guide senior stakeholders, mentor junior analysts, and help shape innovative solutions that enhance underwriting accuracy, claims efficiency, and customer experience.
