As a prospective Salesforce Architect, I am looking for candidates who have proven experience as a Salesforce Architect, particularly in Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Order Management. A strong track record of delivering enterprise e-commerce solutions in a retail context is essential. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, integration patterns, and security best practices. Proficiency in APEX, Force.com, .NET, Java, and database design is required. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills are vital. Additionally, candidates should hold certifications as Salesforce Commerce and Core Architects.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will lead the design and delivery of robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business needs. I will oversee the architecture for Salesforce Commerce, Service, Experience Cloud, and Order Management. Ensuring smooth integration with enterprise systems is a priority, and I will collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective implementation. I will guide development teams on Salesforce best practices and technical standards, assess and optimise the Salesforce environment regularly, and stay current with Salesforce features, updates, and industry trends. Additionally, I will translate business needs into technical architecture in partnership with product owners and vendors, provide architectural oversight for both project work and DevSecOps activities, monitor the technical quality of third-party deliverables, align solutions with strategic technical guidance and security/data protection policies, and mentor junior team members while supporting ad-hoc initiatives outside of continuous improvement efforts.
Description
This position entails working three days onsite in West London, and it offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative Salesforce solutions. Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud is considered a strong advantage.
