Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with Python
- Proficient in JavaScript frameworks, ideally React (Angular also considered)
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments undergoing change
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within distributed teams
- Experience supporting modern digital delivery within agile environments
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) is desirable
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is desirable
- Familiarity with API design and microservices is desirable
- Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) is desirable
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to shape technical solutions and contribute to design decisions
- Work closely with engineering teams to build, test and deliver high-quality software
- Lead and participate in planning, delivery and execution of internal and cross-functional projects
- Act as a technical expert for platforms and services under development
- Keep abreast of platform changes, tooling enhancements and industry trends
- Champion modern development practices, automation and engineering standards
- Identify and remove technical blockers to ensure steady delivery progress
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and security-related issues
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology, product and operational teams
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend practical improvements
Description
